PRIVACY NOTICE

At Ohio Cumberland Gas Company the basis of each customer relationship is service and trust. You have chosen to do business with us, and we will honor your relationship by providing you with the service we believe you expect.

We recognize your right to privacy.

We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. We pledge to protect the privacy and security of our customer information. We recognize your interest in how we collect, retain, and use the personal information you provide us. By our Privacy Notice, we hope to address those concerns and install confidence in our customers that Ohio Cumberland will protect your information.

Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information.

Customer information is at the center of our ability to provide service to you. We will use the information you provide to us to deliver requested service, to administer your accounts with us, and to comply with various State and Federal laws and regulations.

We will not share information with any other company in regard to sales or services.

New and Existing Customers. We collect and maintain information to serve you and administer your customer relationship. The types of information we collect may include: information you provide on applications or forms; information received from third parties such as credit bureaus or similar reporting agencies; information from third parties given to us to administer your payments.

Former Customers. As a former customer of Ohio Cumberland, we may use information collected from you in the past in regard to collecting delinquent bills.

Maintenance of Accurate Information.

Ohio Cumberland continuously strives to maintain complete and accurate information. If you believe our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us. We strive to have complete information to contact you in case of repair or emergency situations.

Information Confidentiality and Security.

We permit only authorized associates to have access to customer information and only for legitimate business needs. All Ohio Cumberland associates are required to follow good business ethics with regard to customer information.

Restriction of Disclosure of Customer Information.

We share certain customer information with outside organizations who you have requested services from. These organizations may include the Home Energy Assistance Program (H.E.A.P.) and other non-profit organizations and agencies that assist in utility payments.

We do not disclose customer information to outside companies for the purpose of marketing non-Ohio Cumberland products or services.
